As the Global Principal IBM Power, David is the primary evangelist for IBM Power in IBM Technology Sales. He regularly meets and presents to a range of audiences, from CxO to new graduates, articulating the value of our solutions. Whether the topic is the existing IBM Power offerings, for AIX, IBM i, Linux, SAP HANA, Machine Learning, TCO or beyond, David can explore all these areas with any audience.
Previously, he expanded his skills through working as an IBM Systems Technology Architect, focused on four key IBM customers. In this role, David worked with the IBM teams to integrate Systems (Server and Storage) solutions from IBM into solutions for our customers. Going a little further back, David was the CTO for IBM Power Systems in UKI, with a strong network of connections across the World Wide IBM Power Offering Management teams.
David is Vice Chair of the IBM Technical Consultancy Group and has led the responsible.computing(infrastructure) initiative for the IBM Academy of Technology. David has been working in the IT industry for over 25 years, regularly presenting at events, discussing all things to do with IBM Power, using analogies to entertain and inform.
