There are three free and popular ways to call REST APIs from an RPG program. In this session, Scott explains the basics of how to call a REST API, and compares the three most popular free tools for RPG programmers, HTTPAPI, SQL and AXIS C. Scott provides full examples of each as well as examples of SQL and DATA-INTO/DATA-GEN for reading and writing XML and JSON documents.
