One of the hottest new technologies on the IBM i platform is support for Node.js. In this session, Scott introduces the basics of the Node.js environment and why you may want to consider giving it a try, then focuses on the biggest value of Node.js -- the ecosystem of free tools (or the "world of Node.js" as Scott calls it) and how these can easily be put together to build powerful applications.
