 The Concept of Cloud Resident and Hybrid Cloud Backup and Restore using  StorSafe/VTL for Power and PowerVS as a target for BRMS or other backup software tools.
Power backup and restore data can be replicated using the same unchanged process for both on premise and Power Cloud with minimized bandwidth and manage simplicity and compliance of the last line of defense in a disaster case. Physical tape archives can be replaced by deduped data archives on IBM Cloud COS Object Storage.
A joint demo will show how an on-premise workload backups can be synchronized with PowerVS.
