This session will focus on helping you gain control of the security of your IFS… then helping you to maintain that control. During this session Carol will describe the differences between IFS security and ‘traditional’ IBM i Security, explain how to use Authority Collection to reduce who has access to IFS objects (without breaking something in the process!) She will also provide examples of using IBM i Services to discover IFS permissions and other settings. Finally she will describe the IBM i features you can use to reduce the risk of malware infection, including recent IBM i 7.5 enhancements.
